Sisters Leap Tea Enters The Custom Blend Tea Market with their Canadian Fall Product Launch Finely hand-crafted tea and tisane from the prairies
Okotoks, AB. - Sisters Leap Tea today announced the start of the Custom Tea Blending Program for clients that creatively combines our premium tea and tisanes into hand-crafted blends focusing on health, taste and premium ingredients. Sisters Leap Tea's expanded and varied selection of tea, fruit and herbs combined with highly personalized service is the forefront of our desire to bring healthy and delicious tea to all Canadians.
“ Our customers have been requesting personalized tea and tisane blends and herbal infusions to focus on their needs, and we’ve responded by introducing our custom tea blending program making everyday tea more enjoyable and redefining today’s market,” said Jacquelynne Mann, Owner and Partner of Sisters Leap Tea. “The focus of Sisters Leap Tea is to give customers the best possible experience so they continue to explore tea in all it's forms, learn about the health benefits and share it with others”
Taste and Quality Sisters Leap Tea is very proud to source their products from within the Ethical Tea Partnership (ETP), using Canadian importers wherever feasible. The ETP monitors and regulates living and working conditions on tea estates around the world. "Sisters Leap Tea only buys tea from plantations" says Jacquelynne Mann, "which use sustainable business practices, ensure living standards for workers and who are committed to land stewardship. It is important to us that the workers who harvest our products are treated fairly and with respect." Jacquelynne goes on to say that in accordance with their business practices "Sisters Leap Tea tea is all natural and has never been exposed to pesticides."
Creative Blending The Custom Blending Program began with requests to accomodate food allergies and sensitivities then quickly expanded to include requests for "tea that does something". This lead to custom herbal infusions for the wholesale market and for private clients to aid with nursing, pregnancy , sleep, digestion and relaxation. The owners, Theresa and Jacquelynne, work directly with the customer in person or via phone and email to discover the clients needs and create a taste profile to work from. A small sample and ingredient list is then provided to the client for approval prior to final blending and packaging in opaque, resealable stand up pouches. As a final touch, clients may name their blend or have Sisters Leap Tea choose one for them!
Pricing and Availability The Custom Tea Blending program will be launched nation-wide on September 14, 2009 in conjunction with our fall/seasonal products and participation in the Mosaik Airmiles Rewards Plus program.
Prices for 50g (enough to make 20-23 cups) start at $8 for black and green tea based blends and $9 for rooibos and fruit bases. Herbals and organic infusions subject to current market conditions, please inquire for your custom quote.
